How the cat purred and how the witch grinned, as they sat on their broomstick and flew through the wind...

The show tells the story of a Witch and her Cat who set out to fight a witch-hunting dragon.  Along the way, the Witch loses her hat, bow and wand.  Each time she recovers an item, she makes a new friend - a Dog, a Frog and a Bird  - and invites them along on her journey.  But her broomstick is not meant for five passengers and - CRACK - it snaps in two.

When the dragon turns up, it looks as though the Witch will be eaten, until Cat and her new friends work together to make the perfect mud monster to frighten away the dragon.  In celebration, the Witch, with the help of her friends, conjures a magical new broom - with room for all...

Tall Stories Theatre presents this magical, musical theatre production filled with songs, laughs and scary fun for children (and their grown ups).  Adapted from the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom features talented musical performers with fantastic puppetry and physical comedy.
